What makes me tick
I am 28 years old and have been married to my beautiful wife Hannah for over 4 years now. I am originally from Catoosa, Oklahoma and graduated from there in 1998. I went to a junior college for two years and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma in the Fall 2000. Once I got to OU, thats when my love for chasing really began. At first, I didn't really know what I was doing out there, I just used the SPC graphics to pick a target area. But, with the time spent at OU and the classes that I took, I have learned how to forecast for myself and have become a successful chaser/meteorologist.
I am also in the series on the Discovery Channel called "Storm Chasers". I am the lead forecaster and navigator of the Scout vehicle from which we deploy probes in front of tornadoes.
My work link is below and the Storm Chasers link is here.
I was the meteorologist for the student run broadcast for OU for 1 1/2 years. Originally, that was what I wanted to do with my career, but the more that I did it, the more I got bored with it. Another passion of mine is video production. I have produced training videos for OU Housing and Food Services. I have also produced several of my own chase videos too. I also have shot and edited wedding videos.
I currently work for Center for Severe Weather Research. I am a forecaster for the severe weather season and also during tropical weather season. I recently just got back into the country after spending two months operating DOW2 in southwest Germany for the COPS project, studying convective initiation.
I am not going into every detail of my life, but here are some pics of my wife, HannaH, and dog, Einstein.
My wife also has a art website, you should check it out! www.hannahsart.com

Here are some pics of my family and friends
